The Blackpool Ice Twirlers are a totally unique group of local ice skaters who combine the art of show skating with baton twirling. To the best of our knowledge, they are the only group in the world dedicated to the combination of these two skills.

To date the group have performed their routines not only at ice rinks up and down the UK, but also at various ice rinks abroad.

Although the combined skills of ice skating and baton twirling take a great deal of patience and practise, girls are able to join the junior section of the team at a very basic level of skating from where they are trained by Team Coach John Holden.
